Myth-Busting Channeling with Nila Velchoff
Channeling often gets dismissed as a pseudoscience or something mystical that only certain people can do.
However, channeling is a practice that, when done authentically, can provide profound insights and healing.
Let's join practitioner Nila Velchoff to debunk some of the common myths surrounding channeling and explore its true potential.
Myth 1: Channeling Isn't Real
One of the biggest myths about channeling is that it isn't real and doesn't work. This skepticism often stems from a lack of understanding or exposure to authentic channeling experiences.
Reality: My journey with channeling began with a lot of skepticism too. When my son Seth died, he began speaking to me from the other side. When I finally started channeling him for others, I was instructed not to read other channeled works for two years to ensure my channeling remained authentic and uninfluenced by others.
My partner, David, would read similar works and confirm that my channeling was in line with these established texts. This validation grounded and excited me, reinforcing the reality and effectiveness of the channeling I was experiencing.
Myth 2: Channeling Requires Special Belief
Many people believe that for channeling to work, one must have a special belief or faith in it.
Reality: The effectiveness of channeling doesn't depend on belief alone. My approach to channeling, and energy healing in general, is pragmatic. The most important measure for me is whether it is useful, effective, and helpful.
If a practice brings positive results, it doesn't matter whether I believe in it or not. This practical approach helps in distinguishing authentic channeling from the inauthentic.
Myth 3: All Channeling Is the Same
There's a misconception that all channeled information is the same and equally valuable.
Reality: Just like any other field, not all channeled works are created equal. There is a lot of channeling out there, and it's important to have the skill to discern what is authentic and useful.
The key is to evaluate whether the channeled information is effective and helpful in your life. Effective channeling can offer profound guidance and support, while inauthentic, ungrounded channeling may not provide any real value.
Channeling, like any other practice, requires discernment and a practical approach. The biggest myth that needs to be busted is that channeling isn't real or effective.
Effective channeled work can provide valuable insights and support, making it a powerful tool for personal growth and healing.
And as a reminder, always measure the effectiveness and usefulness of the practice in your life, and let those results guide your belief and trust in the process.
